Our Commitment

 

CCLCS is committed to providing an excellent educational experience for all students and actively seeks to recruit English Learners (ELs). ELs are provided instruction by licensed ESL teachers. They are also provided with Sheltered English Instruction in their general education classes by content teachers who are SEI endorsed. CCLCS works closely with families and sending districts to insure incoming students with varying levels of English proficiency receive programming appropriate to their needs. CCLCS encourages its educators to continue professional development on how to effectively teach ELs in accordance with state and federal requirements.
