Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School MARINE PLANKTON PROJECT EXHIBIT

Thanks to a grant from The Friends of Pleasant Bay, CCLCS students created art from their plankton studies. Two teachers, Barbara Haines and Susan Lymann, along with parents, Barbara and Pat Woodbury, worked with the students together on this. A graduate student, Mario Sengco, from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution gave a fascinating slide presentation about his work on red tide plankton organisms and brought some samples of plankton to look at. The following images are from the exhibit of the students work which culminated at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History along with Mario's visit.
